Meet Solenne
The Duo Behind the Music
We're two friends and musicians who came together with a shared vision: to bring the timeless beauty of harp and violin to your most meaningful celebrations.

Harp
Monet Rojas
Monet Rojas is an award-winning harpist and performer and co-founder of the harp and violin duo Solenne. Her lifelong devotion to the harp began at age three, and she has since cultivated exceptional technical mastery and expressive artistry, earning recognition in numerous national and international competitions.
Monet has received top-three placements in three divisions of the American Harp Society National Harp Competition, including First Prize in the Intermediate I Division, and has competed twice in the Lyon & Healy Awards International Competition. In 2023, she earned First Prize in the top division of Utah's inaugural statewide harp competition and was named Utah Concert Artist.
A passionate orchestral musician, Monet first appeared as a soloist with the Utah Symphony at age fourteen in its annual Salute to Youth concert. She has since served as substitute Principal Harpist for the Ogden Chamber Orchestra in numerous operas and ballets and has performed with leading ensembles throughout the Intermountain West, including the Sheridan Orchestra, Boise Philharmonic, Helena Symphony, and Billings Symphony. She currently serves as Principal Harpist for Utah's Millennial Choir & Orchestra and the Brigham Young University Philharmonic Orchestra, and as substitute Principal Harpist for the Billings Symphony. Monet will earn her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Brigham Young University in Spring 2026.
Through Solenne, Monet performs regularly for weddings, receptions, and special events, creating elegant and meaningful musical experiences that elevate each celebration. In addition to performing, she teaches private harp lessons and is passionate about using music as a form of service. She frequently performs for care facilities, religious services, and special events and enjoys collaborating musically with her husband, seeking to use their talents to bless the lives of others and draw hearts closer to God through music.

Violin
Eliza Jensen
Eliza Jensen is a professional violinist, performer, and educator and co-founder of the harp and violin duo Solenne. She began playing the violin at age nine and has since developed a passion for expressive performance, musical excellence, and creating meaningful musical experiences that uplift and inspire. Eliza especially loves helping others feel the love of Christ through music.
Eliza earned her Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance in April 2025 from Brigham Young University, where she performed in the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra and served as concertmaster on multiple occasions. In 2020, she won the Utah Valley Symphony Concerto Competition and performed as a featured soloist with the orchestra. She was also a finalist in the BYU Concerto Competition in 2022 and 2023, and during her high school years she was selected for the Utah All-State Orchestra from 2016 to 2019. In December 2025, she had the opportunity to serve as concertmaster for Nebo Holiday Chorus and Orchestra's production of Handel's Messiah.
A certified Suzuki violin teacher, Eliza has taught privately for nearly ten years and maintains a thriving studio of over forty students. Through Solenne, she performs regularly for weddings, receptions, and events, offering elegant and personalized musical experiences that enhance each celebration's atmosphere. She grew up in a deeply musical family as one of nine children, which fostered her lifelong love of collaboration and artistic expression.
Outside of music, Eliza enjoys running and loves trying new recipes. She and her husband, Kelson, enjoy traveling, skiing, playing pickleball, and disc golf together.
Our Story
Why Solenne?
“Solenne” means solemn, heartfelt, and ceremonial — a perfect word for what music should feel like at life's most important moments. We chose this name because it captures the spirit of what we do: creating music that's not just beautiful, but deeply meaningful.
Based in Utah County, we've had the honor of performing at weddings and events across the state. Whether you're looking for a small intimate ceremony or a larger celebration, harp and violin is an exquisite combination that sets the perfect tone.
